Task 2B

Creating a database.

First you need to open up phpmyadmin and click on new on the left side of the screen which will bring up this menu in the screenshot. Name the database what you want then click create.

Creating a table.

To create a table click on your named database to bring up the menu you see in this screenshot. Name the table whatever you want and select whatever number of columns you want and click go and this will bring up what you see on the seccond screenshot.

When the table is created fill the variables and data types as desired and you should have something like this screenshot below:

To add a column simply select how many columns you would like to add and click go at the top of the page:

When you’re finished creating your table click save at the bottom right of the screen and you should see something like in the screenshot below and you’re done:
